ከጎጃም ታላላቅ ሊቃውንት ውስጥ የኦሮሞ ተወላጅ የሆኑት ሁነኛ ደረጃ ይዘው ይገኛሉ፡፡ የኦሮሞ ሊቃውንት በየትኛውም የጎጃም አድባራትና ገዳማት ለትውልድ የሚተላለፉ ታላላቅ ሥራዎችን ሠርተው አልፈዋል፡፡ በአሁኑ ሰዓትም በየገዳማቱና አድባራቱ በመምህርነት የሚያገለግሉ የኦሮሞ ሊቃውንት በጎጃም ሞልተዋል፡፡
