CPJ, rights groups slam Dawit Kebede over allegations

The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), Oakland Institute (OI) and Survival International (SI) have strongly rejected and condemned Dawit Kebede’s recent allegations against several global advocacy groups.  The groups said such an irresponsible and unsubstantiated allegation that has no factual basis is not expected of someone who claims to a journalist committed to informing others.

Dawit Kebede, who was one of the four recipients of CPJ’s International Press Freedom Award in 2010, recently appeared on the state-run ETV and accused CPJ, Oakland Institute , Freedom House, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, International Rivers, Survival International and the International Crisis Group of being tools of imposing Western hegemony. “These organizations are part of an overall allegiance to control the world under one single ideology,” he had asserted.

ኢትዮጵያውያን/ት ለዓለም ባንክ የጭካኔ ቢሮክራሲያዊ የቀልድ ማካሄጃ የመድረክ ትወና ዒላማነት ተዳርገዋል፡፡

በምዕራብ ኢትዮጵያ ጋምቤላ እየተባለ በሚጠራው ክልል የዓለም ባንክ ቢሮክራቶች ዜጎችን ከሰፈሩበት ቦታ ያለፈቃዳቸውወደ ሌላ ቦታ በማዛወር፣የአካባቢው ዜጎች በቋሚነት ባህላቸውን አዳብረው ከሚኖሩበት ቦታቸው በግዳጅ በማፈናቀል እናየተለሳለሰና እና በጎ መስሎ በእሬት የተለወሰ የዘርማጽዳት እኩይ ምግባር በማካሄድ “የማታለል ጨዋታ” በመጫወት ላይመሆኑን አንድ ያለም ባንክ የራሱ የምርመራ ዘገባ ባለፈው ሳምንት ይፋአድርጓል፡፡

አንድነት ለዲሞክራሲና ለፍትህ ፓርቲ በምርጫ ቦርድ አማካይነት እየደረሰበት ያለውን በደል ለሕዝብ ለማሰማት ጥር 17 ቀን 2007 ዓም በአዲስ አበባ፣ ደብረ ማርቆስ፣ ጂንካና ሸዋ ሮቢት የተቃውሞ ሰልፎችን ጠርቶ ነበር። በተለይ በአዲስ አበባው ሰልፍ ላይ የተገኙ ወገኖቻችን ለህወሓት ፍጹም ታማኝ በሆነው የፓሊስ ክፍል ያለርህራሄ መደብደባቸው እና የተቃውሞ ሰልፉም በጉልበት መበተኑ ነፃነትና ፍትህ ናፋቂውን የኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ ያሳዘነ ብቻ ሳይሆነ ያስቆጨ ጉዳይ ነው።

Arbegnoch-Ginbot7 for Unity and Democracy Movement merged (አርበኞች-ግንቦት7 የአንድነት እና የዲሞክራሲ ንቅናቄ ተመሰረተ)

Ginbot 7 Movement for Justice, Freedom and Democracy (Ginbot 7) and Ethiopian People’s Patriotic Front (EPPF) merged. The united front will be called “Arbegnoch-Ginbot7 for Unity and Democracy Movement” (አርበኞች-ግንቦት7 የአንድነት እና የዲሞክራሲ ንቅናቄ

የተቃዋሚ ፓርቲ አመራሮችና ግለሰቦች ባቀረቡት የክስ መቃወሚያ ላይ ፍ/ቤቱ መቃወሚያው መርምሮ ብይን ለመስጠት ለጥር 7 ቀን 2007 ዓ.ም ቀጥሯል
