RALLY TO STOP FORCED DISPLACEMENT IN ETHIOPIA AND DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY FROM THE WORLD BANK

The World Bank has been sending millions of dollars to the Ethiopian regime, which is committing grave crimes againstRALLY TO STOP FORCED DISPLACEMENT IN ETHIOPIA its people.
Ethiopians are being forcibly evicted from their land so that it can be sold off to foreign investors and corrupt local tycoons. Those who oppose this massive land grab are being arrested, tortured and killed.
The World Bank has launched a new campaign to end poverty. They are asking: “What will it take to end poverty?” Let us turn up outside their headquarters and tell them that funneling aid to murderous regimes is not the answer.
International aid should empower people not dictatorships.
The Bank is holding its annual Spring Meetings in Washington on April 19-21, which will be attended by the world’s finance ministers and representatives of the Ethiopian regime.
Join us for a massive rally outside the Bank together with people from all nations who are struggling for justice and human rights. We will demand that the World Bank stop using public funds to prop up corrupt and abusive regime and sponsor human rights abuses.
Let the Ethiopian people lead this rally for respect for human rights and accountability in international development aid!
