Bol .Wek Agoth , South Sudan's ambassador to Norway , is questioning the nationality of the 30 - year-old who is charged with the triple murder on the Valdres exspress bus Monday.
The ambassador believes it is uncertain whether the accused actually is from South Sudan. Tuesday had the embassy contact with the Southern Sudanese communities in Norway to investigate the 30 - year-old's identity.
- We do not know if he`s a South Sudan . According to the leaders of the Sudanese community there is no asylum seekers from South Sudan in the area. We will work hard to investigate this further , says ambassador Bol Wek Agoth the day .
The ambassador is not happy that south Sudanese are associated with such an event.
- There is no situation in South Sudan at this time was to get people to seek asylum in Norway . It is also a fact that some people claim they are from southern Sudan , but rather in the West or East African , says Agoth .
South Sudan became an independent state in 2011. So far this year, six people from southern Sudan sought asylum in Norway , according to Immigration.
